Yes, that is dripping you see from your roofline. We're hoping that it takes care of that ice dam over the door, at least a bit.

I did a bit of googling to find out how to tackle ice dam.One site recommended filling a pantyhose leg with sodium chloride, laying that over the dam, and letting it melt a
channel so water could escape.
But I didn't try it out.I don't know that it will work or not.
If you want you can try.
