It's snowing

(for those who might have missed this!)

In a scene that's become overwhelmingly familiar, there are no school buses on the road, the shoveled walks are filling back in, and the snow is pelting down. A squirrel rummaging under our birdfeeder this morning was rapidly being buried. Even the junkos seem to have taken cover!

At 9 am, it is 21 degrees and rising
83% humidity and steady
30.06 inches of mercury and still falling (much of the storm is still west of us)
Fire danger is NONE

We did see a dogwalker go through this morning, but that has been it. We're sending out some junior rangers now, though!

UPDATE: As I was sitting here at the window, a snowshoer just came by! Looks like it's freezing rain right now.
