But it is still cold enough to chill your face!
At 9 am, it is 20 degrees and rising (up from a low of 6 this morning)
61% humidity and falling
29.74 inches of mercury and rising
Fire danger remains LOW
The stream and falls are covered in snow.
And for you skaters out there, the neighbors have been keeping up with the clearing of Cook's Pond, so you can still get to the ice!

What kind of recreating is Okay on/in Cook's Pond?
Skating, fishing, boating, swimming?
Who owns it? Where is the proper place to access it?
Thanks,
Joe
Skating is OK.
Fishing, ice, boat, and shore, is OK.
Boating is OK in non-motorized craft launched from Olean Street access point.
Swimming is not easily achieved as the bathing beach is not open to the public.
The land is owned by the Tatnuck Island Club, and the development rights to some 33 acres of that is co-held by the Greater Worcester Land Trust and the Worcester Conservation Commission.
It is best accessed on foot at Olean Street or Tatnuck Gardens Street, and in non-motorized craft at Olean Street.
If you're looking to skate, park at Cascading Waters and walk back up Olean Street to the part of the pond overlook by the benches. There are two hockey-rink-sized cleared spaces there.
