Snow Snow Snow!

There is at least three to four inches out there without even measuring.
It is coming down with an enthusiasm that implies even more!

We have already had activity in the Visitor lot this morning.

The trail is buried.

Presently it is 9:00 am and snowing:
26 degress F and steady;
91 % humidity and steady;
29.80" of mercury and falling;
USFS Forest Fire Danger is LOW.

We will get out there to measure the depths in a bit.

TO Caretaker & Cascading waters:

You both have a real gift for words and I really enjoy reading your blog!!!

Picking a location and making frequent and eloquent observations is a great idea and akin to what Thoreau did at Walden Pond.
