Weather moving in

Well, it couldn't last.

Skies are grey and cloudy, and the mercury is falling.
The cusp of the storm is upon us, and the radar map shows it all the way out to Ohio in a band.

The trail has been quiet.
The brook is running,
the Cascades are flowing beneath the frozen crust and is visible in spots.

Soon the snow/sleet / rain will be upon us.
Stock up the firewood and settle in.

Right now it is 2:30 pm;
35 degrees and falling gently;
59% humidity and steady; and
the mercury is 30.09" and falling.
