The Cascades are 350 acres of park and conservation lands along the borders of Worcester, Paxton, and Holden, Massachusetts. Home to countless species of plants and animals, the Cascades are open to passive recreation year-round.

Weather in Transition

Presently the USFS Fire Danger Class is Moderate, but any second now it will begin to rain and wipe that away.

This morning the conditions were sunny and blue with a strong breeze.
As of 9am it was:
48 degrees F and rising;
49% humidity and falling;
29.97" of mercury and steady;
no recorded rainfall;
The Cascades Brook was running at 4.8".

Presently it is densely overcast with a decent breeze.
As of 5:06 pm it is:
59.5 degrees and steady;
33% humidity and steady;
29.91" of mercury and steady;
as yet no recordable rainfall.

Spring is here and the bloodwort are in bloom in the western half of Cascading Waters!
