Michael Bhatia, Rest in Peace

Our condolences to Tricia Bhatia and her family today.
(Through this past spring, Tricia worked at the Land Trust, and we were glad of her help last week in digging post holes at Nick's Woods.)

Her brother Michael, a scholar on Afghanistan and a doctoral candidate at Oxford University, was killed, along with two American soldiers from the 82nd Airborne, by a roadside bomb last Wednesday. He was 31.

You can read The Boston Globe's coverage here.

So, so sorry, Tricia.
