Weather, Trails, and the Brook

It is presently 9 degrees F at 7:30 am here at the Lodge.
Cold, clear, and sunny.

There is little activity out on the trail as of late.
A storm system is about to roll in and drop more precipitation tonight.

Presently the walking is easy if snowy.
We will have to see if the storm gives us snow, ice, or rain.
Since an arctic front will follow it up, expect icy trails for this weekend.

Even the lone junco outside looks cold.
