Cascading Waters can be found at 135 Olean Street on the eastern edge of Worcester's northwest parklands, the Cascades. The Cascades are 350 acres of park and conservation lands along the borders of Worcester, Paxton, and Holden, Massachusetts. Home to countless species of plants and animals, the Cascades are open to passive recreation year-round.

Weather, Cascade, Brook, and Animal Observations

Last night and this mornings snow (3-4") has blanketed the property.
The brook is running and has been for the past week.
There is modest flow off of the Cascades.
Today's ground tracks are squirrel.

Installed rain gauges for future record keeping tonight.
One is digital and the other is 'old school.'
I think the 'old school' will survive the 'squirrel army' better.
We'll see what the morning brings.
