Rainy

When we checked last night, we had only a 30% chance of showers, but this morning it appears that the 30 is what we got. We're at what the radar map is showing as the tail end of a band of showers here this morning.
At eleven am, it is 73.9 degrees and steady.
90% humidity, raining on and off
29.29 inches of mercury under cloudy skies
We've got wind of 4.5 mph

We put the fire danger up to HIGH over the weekend; we'll reassess that once the rain moves out. We really haven't (for the high humidity) gotten that much water falling from the skies!

The stream is rapidly drying up, as a result.

A hot(ter) one

Early forecasts said it could get up to 90 today, but it's backed off quite a bit and we're topping out the day in the low 80's. It does feel much more like summer today, though!

More overcast drizzle, with a chance of T-storms!

Well, life here in the Temperate Rainforest continues to be wet.

98% humidity at the Lodge,
98% humidity up by the Meadow,
98% humidity seems to best characterize where we are at.

Yesterday at the Lodge we had 0.20" of rain.
This morning we have trace amounts, 0.04".

But the sky is dark, and wet is where we are at.

As 8am the weather is as follows:
LODGE: 30.00" Hg and steady, 64.4 degrees F and steady, 98% humidity and steady.
MEADOW: 29.97" Hg and steady, 63.1 degrees F and steady, 98% humidity and steady.

The Cascades have a low but constant flow and are really beautiful.
We spent some time last night up at the bridge and the wet rock, the green vegetation, the water cascading, and the sound of falling water is just perfect.

Humid

Very, very humid...

You wouldn't think that it could be so humid and not rain.

Up in the meadow this morning, it's 95% humidity
Here at Lodge? 93%
That's pretty wet.

We've had a number of hikers go through, including two from the City of Worcester on their treasure hunt!
Barometer is steady at 29.8.
At 10:30 am, it is 73 degrees here.
